Andy Hillhouse & Pierre Schryer

Franco-Ontarian fiddler Pierre Schryer and west coast singer and guitarist Andy Hillhouse are a tour de force of fine musicianship, versatility, and technical dexterity. The duo brings together two diverse musical careers and delivers an eclectic & authentic blend of Folk, Celtic & World music. Over the years, they have performed together in various groups and special collaborations including Mad Pudding (Vancouver based Celtic Funk band), Pierre Schryer’s Canadian Celtic Celebration (Northwestern Ontario festival), and multiple tours in North America and the UK. Individually, they have performed on numerous artists’ recording projects including each other’s own solo albums, namely Pierre’s 2008 CFMA nominated “Mélange,” and Andy’s solo album “Passages.” Pierre and Andy continue to collaborate on national and international stages, creating their unique brand of musical magic. Be sure to catch them in action!

Dagger Harbour

Dagger Harbour is Mars K and Emily Carson-Apstein bringing Banjo and Harp together in harmony so solemnly sweet you won’t know whether to laugh or cry. A duo originating from Vancouver and Gabriola respectively (who met serendipitously at a “rise up singing”-based jam in Montreal), they are folk to the core with a little country twang.

They are now residing on the ancestral land of the Snuneymuxw people (Gabriola) where they are growing a garden and their sound; honoured to be part of such a creative and connected community.
